Introducing the Spime Design Workshops

At the start of a new technology there are a lot of factors determining its success, or hindering its diffusion. The availability of the right development tools, or of a good documentation, for example. Also, somewhat less evidently, it is not always easy to immediately adopt the right mindset, the open attitude that lets creative coders, and hardware hackers imagine future applications that people will want to use, before they would know it. This capacity of those who dream and program new worlds is only partially an art: as many skills, it is based on craft, and exercise too. Recognizing that this is the case for the move towards the new paradigms of the Internet Of Things, we have started a series of workshops that help groups from 5 to 20-30 people get acquainted with what it means designing applications for the coming world of spimes.
